Senior Portraits

Senior Information

Clothing Choices :

Every senior sortrait session includes 2 to 3 outfit changes. Be different when selecting your outfits. Choose casual and more formal clothing. Lighter clothing works better for lighter backgrounds. Bring jewelry, shoes, and accessories for each outfit change. For your casual poses, do what you want, this is your chance to be yourself. Bring cold weather clothing, since your portraits will be enjoyed year round. For a yearbook portrait: a simple, plain outfit in mid to dark tones with long sleeves tends to work the best.

Special Hobbies or Activities:

If you have an interest, hobby, sport, etc... and would like to have it be a part of your portrait session, please let us know ahead of time. Personalize your session by bringing your own props ( car, hat, jacket, sunglasses, pet, musical instrument, sports equipment, uniforms, etc... )

Hair:

Wear your hair in a style you are comfortable with.

Make-up:

The eyes are the focal point of every great portrait. Eye shadow and eye liner should be applied carefully, before your session. Apply two coats of mascara on both the upper and the lower lashes. Apply you other make-up as you normally would.  Bring your makeup with you, in case you need a touch up. If you don't normally wear make-up, a little blush, lipstick, and mascara, are highly suggested to enhance you portrait.

Glasses:

If you wear glasses, wear them for your portrait session. Try to have the lenses removed, or borrow an empty pair from your optometrist.

Shaving:

Men should shave just before their portrait session to avoid any "5 oclock shadow"
